Trying to grow my Instagram. What’s the best time to post on a Monday for maximum reach or engagement?
July 8, 2025 at 12:59 pm #114You are trying to figure out the best time to post on Instagram on Monday? Trust me, i have been through that guessing game too. You spend time editing your post, writing the perfect caption. and then nothing. Barely any likes.
Let me tell you what actually works: posting between 9 AM and 11 AM on Monday is usually the sweet spot. Why? Because people are getting into work, checking their phones during a slow start, and they’re way more likely to stop and scroll.
I once posted a photo at 9:30 AM on a Monday, and it took off tons of likes and even a few new followers. But when I posted a similar one at 6 PM? Crickets. Timing does matter.
And honestly, not everyone’s audience is the same. If your followers are students, night owls, or in a different time zone, test a few time slots. But as a starting point, Monday mornings are golden.
The key to Instagram growth is simple: post consistently and at the right time. Start with Monday mornings, track what works, and build from there.
July 10, 2025 at 6:21 am #147I’ll be real with you. I used to just throw stuff on Instagram whenever I remembered. Monday? I’d post at 2 PM, 6 PM. even 11 at night once (don’t ask). And of course, barely anyone saw it.
One day, I was like what is the deal here? Why do some posts get a ton of likes and others just disappear? I started watching when people I follow post and also when I scroll the most. That’s when it clicked:
Monday mornings—around 9 to 11 AM—is the sweet spot.
Think about it. It’s the start of the week. People are at their desks, sipping coffee, not really in work mode yet. What do they do? Scroll Instagram. It’s like a mini break from Monday madness. That’s your shot. I posted one of my favorite travel photos at 10:15 AM a few Mondays ago nothing fancy, just a beach pic with a chill caption. And boom. Way more likes than usual. It felt good. Not gonna lie.
Now, I’m not saying this is some magic trick. You still gotta post good stuff. But timing helps. A lot.
Try it next Monday. Drop a post around 10-ish, see how it goes. And if it flops? Try again the next week. It’s not about being perfect it’s about figuring out what works for your people.
That’s what I did. And trust me, it made a difference. -
