How can I block someone on TikTok step by step? Also, once blocked, do they disappear from my followers and messages? What exactly happens after I block someone?
July 23, 2025 at 5:13 am #319Let me tell you something: sometimes, you just need a break from people, even on TikTok. Maybe someone’s been bothering you with weird comments, or you just want a little more peace and quiet.
You are not alone Blocking someone on TikTok is super easy, and it feels good to control who can see your stuff.
So, here is how I do it (and, yes, I wish I knew this earlier):
Find The Person
First, head over to the profile of the person you want to block. Maybe it’s that random person who keeps spamming your videos, or just anybody you don’t vibe with.Tap The Three Dots
In the top right corner of their profile, you’ll see three little dots. Click on those. There’s a whole bunch of options in there.Choose “Block”
Scroll down a bit, and you’ll see “Block.” Tap it. A screen pops up asking if you’re sure. Hit “Block” again. And you won’t believe they are blocked! No more messages from them, no sneaky comments, nothing. But if you ever change your mind, you can unblock them just as easily.
I used this once because this dude wouldn’t stop tagging me in dance challenges. I like dancing, but not every hour! After blocking, my TikTok felt way more chill.
So, don’t feel weird about blocking anyone. Your account, your rules. Stay safe, have fun, and remember sometimes you just need a little ‘block’ to keep TikTok happy and drama-free.
July 23, 2025 at 5:39 am #321Here is a different, friendly structure: imagine you are texting a friend who just asked how to block someone on TikTok. Let’s keep it super clear and natural.
Ever had someone on TikTok keep popping up and just, well, annoy you? Really you are not the only one! Blocking someone is way easier than you might think. I’ll walk you through it step by step, like showing a friend how to win in a game.
Step 1: Search for Them
Open TikTok and type their username in the search bar. Find their profile (even if it’s that cousin who’s always sharing cringey stuff).Step 2: Tap, Tap, Tap
Once you are on their profile, see those three little dots in the corner? Tap them! A whole menu will pop out. It’s kind of like opening a secret settings drawer.Step 3: Hit “Block.”
Scroll down in that menu until you spot “Block.” Don’t be shy; go ahead and tap it. TikTok will double-check to make sure you mean it hit “Block” again. That’s it. Seriously, it’s done. They won’t be able to see or comment on your videos anymore.
I did this once for someone who kept duetting my videos in the weirdest ways. The relief? Instant. You don’t need to feel bad; it’s your account and your space. And if you ever change your mind? Just go to your settings and unblock them.
whenever you need a bit of peace on TikTok, now you know exactly how to do it. Remember to always look after yourself online. Blocking is just one little click, but it can make your TikTok way more fun
July 25, 2025 at 6:39 am #346You are having fun on TikTok, and then bam—someone suddenly starts bugging you with annoying comments or just generally being weird. it happens to the best of us.
And blocking someone on TikTok is way easier than you think. I remember when I first figured it out; I was so relieved I could just stop the nonsense in a few simple steps.
Here is what you do (and this is straight-up how I do it):
1. Open TikTok and find the person you don’t want to see anymore.
2. Tap on their profile. Sometimes I even pause for a second just to triple-check. Yep, this is the one!
3. See those three tiny dots up in the top right corner? Tap them.
4. You’ll see a menu pop up. Hit Block. Then TikTok will ask if you are sure. Just say yes, and boom, they are gone. And that is it. No drama, no awkward chats, just quiet. You won’t believe how fast your feet feel nicer.
If anyone’s making your TikTok less fun, block them and move on. Seriously, your screen time is too precious for bad vibes.
