How I Learned to Keep My Mac Desktop Clean: My Mac desktop used to look like a screenshot graveyard. Screenshots everywhere.
One day, I finally figured out a super easy fix, and I wish I’d known this sooner.
Opening the Screenshot Menu: Here is what you do: Press Command + Shift + 5 on your keyboard.
That pops up the screenshot menu, and trust me, it’s easy to miss if you don’t know it’s there.
Where to Save Your Screenshots: At the bottom of that menu, there is a button that says Options. Click it.
Now, choose iCloud Drive as the place to save your screenshots. That means every new screenshot flies straight up to the cloud, all neat and tidy.
Why This Is a Game Changer: No more digging through a messy desktop. And the best part?
You can open iCloud Drive from your iPhone or iPad, and those same screenshots are sitting there, waiting. This saved me so much stress before big school projects and work meetings.
Final Thoughts from a Reformed Screenshot Hoarder: I used to panic when I could not find the right screenshot.
Not anymore. Set this up, and Your digital life just feels easier. Try it; you’ll thank me later.
