Let me tell you something: sometimes, you just need a break from people, even on TikTok. Maybe someone’s been bothering you with weird comments, or you just want a little more peace and quiet.
You are not alone Blocking someone on TikTok is super easy, and it feels good to control who can see your stuff.
So, here is how I do it (and, yes, I wish I knew this earlier):
Find The Person
First, head over to the profile of the person you want to block. Maybe it’s that random person who keeps spamming your videos, or just anybody you don’t vibe with.
Tap The Three Dots
In the top right corner of their profile, you’ll see three little dots. Click on those. There’s a whole bunch of options in there.
Choose “Block”
Scroll down a bit, and you’ll see “Block.” Tap it. A screen pops up asking if you’re sure. Hit “Block” again.
And you won’t believe they are blocked! No more messages from them, no sneaky comments, nothing. But if you ever change your mind, you can unblock them just as easily.
I used this once because this dude wouldn’t stop tagging me in dance challenges. I like dancing, but not every hour! After blocking, my TikTok felt way more chill.
So, don’t feel weird about blocking anyone. Your account, your rules. Stay safe, have fun, and remember sometimes you just need a little ‘block’ to keep TikTok happy and drama-free.
