You want your backups running but not hogging your computer, right? Here is how to set the CPU priority for the backup process.

On Windows, just open Task Manager, find your backup app, right-click it, and tap Go to details. Right-click the process there and set the priority to Low.

It’s that easy. I did this for my old laptop, and I could finally stream videos while backing up. So, next time your backup slows things down, just give it less priority.
